Eo Gio (Wind Strait)
Overview
Eo Gio is a narrow rocky headland 25km north of Quy Nhon city, where the South China Sea squeezes through a cleft in the coastline and generates near-constant wind. The approach road runs through fishing villages and past a lagoon; the headland itself has dramatic rock formations and a basic cafe. It is one of the most photographed spots in Binh Dinh province, particularly at sunrise.
