Overview
Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park covers 857km² of UNESCO-listed karst limestone in Quang Binh province, containing the world's largest cave system including Son Doong — the single largest cave chamber on Earth, so large it has its own weather system and jungle inside. Permits to enter Son Doong are strictly limited to 1,000 per year and cost over $3,000; the park also contains dozens of accessible caves including Phong Nha, Paradise, and Hang En.
