Phu Quoc Aquarium

VinWonders is on the southern tip of Phu Quoc, about 20 km from Duong Dong town. The Hon Thom Cable Car terminal is next to the complex — many visitors combine both in a single day.

• From Duong Dong / Phu Quoc town: Grab or taxi, roughly 25–30 minutes south along the coastal road
• From the airport: About 15 minutes by taxi — the airport is midway between town and VinWonders

Five zones

• Midnight Drifters — jellyfish gallery with over 1,260 jellyfish in backlit cylindrical tanks
• The Aquatic Treasure — tropical reef fish, coral species, and the main walk-through ocean tunnel with sharks and rays overhead
• The Frozen Palace — penguin habitat housing Gentoo, African, Adelie, Humboldt, King and Rockhopper penguins in a climate-controlled environment
• Sharklantis — dedicated shark zone with hammerhead, blacktip, and whitetip sharks; shark-feeding shows held daily
• Realm of Giants — oversized freshwater and saltwater species including giant catfish and freshwater stingrays

Shows

• Mermaid performances — costumed performers in the main tank alongside live fish; check the daily schedule at the entrance
• Shark-feeding show — aquarists feed sharks through protected panels; visitors can photograph with the aquarists after the show

Tips

• Go on a weekday morning — school groups and tour buses arrive from mid-morning onwards on weekends
• No flash photography around the animals
• Don't feed the animals without staff permission
• Two dining options on site: Deep Sea Cafeteria (casual) and Seahorse Restaurant (sit-down)
• The aquarium is fully air-conditioned — a good option during the hottest part of the day or in rain
• Allow 1.5–2 hours; more if you want to catch both shows
