Ti Top Island
Crescent beach and 400-step summit climb with the best panoramic view in Ha Long Bay. Entrance: 50,000 VND.
Overview
Ti Top Island is one of the most iconic stops on any Ha Long Bay cruise. A crescent-shaped beach curves around the base of a steep limestone hill, and 400 stone steps lead to the summit — one of the best panoramic viewpoints in the entire bay. Named after Soviet cosmonaut Gherman Titov, who visited with Ho Chi Minh in 1962.

What to Do
- Summit hike — 400 stone steps to a pavilion with 360° views over Ha Long Bay; allow 20–30 minutes up
- Beach swimming — the crescent beach at the base is calm and good for a swim
- Photography — the summit is arguably the single best viewpoint in Ha Long Bay
Practical Information
- Entrance fee: 50,000 VND
- Time needed: 1–1.5 hours (beach + summit)
- Best time: Early morning — the light is best and crowds are thinnest before 10 AM

Tips
