Overview

Ta Phin sits 12 km northeast of Sapa town, home to Red Dao and Black H’mong communities known across the region for herbal bathing traditions and finely worked brocade textiles. Visitors can soak in a traditional Dao herbal bath — a mix of forest roots and leaves said to ease aching muscles after trekking — and watch or buy hand-woven and embroidered textiles directly from village weavers.

Entry: around 40,000 VND adult, 20,000 VND child. Best visited March-May or September-November.
