Overview
Lao Chai lies 7-10 km southeast of Sapa town within Muong Hoa Valley, its stilt houses and terraced rice fields spread across the hillside. It's one of the most-visited stops on valley treks, with opportunities to see traditional crafts and try regional cuisine alongside the farming families who live here.
Entry: around 75,000 VND adult, 50,000 VND child. Often combined with a walking route on to Ta Van.
