Thanh Toan Bridge is one of the few remaining covered wooden bridges in Vietnam, built in 1776 by a noblewoman named Tran Thi Dao as a gift to the village. Located about 8 km east of Hue city, it sits in the quiet farming village of Thanh Toan surrounded by rice paddies and traditional farmhouses.
Get There
Best reached by bicycle (30–40 min ride from central Hue through flat countryside) or by motorbike. The scenic route through rice fields and villages is half the experience.
