A good morning activity in August — the pottery village along the Thu Bon River is active from early and the workshops are shaded and breezy. Japanese Covered Bridge
August’s only comfortable visiting window for the bridge is early morning — be there before 8 AM for an uncrowded, cool experience of the 16th-century structure. The small temple inside the bridge and the carved wooden details on the roof are worth examining slowly; plan 20–30 minutes at the bridge and combine with the surrounding morning laneway walk.
