Mu Cang Chai in February: Tet, Peach Blossom & H’mong Spring Games

February is usually Tet month in Mu Cang Chai; the Lunar New Year falls on 6 February in 2027. Days are dry and cool, peach and plum trees flower around H’mong houses, and after Tet the villages come out for spring games. The terraces are bare until planting, so this is a month for village life more than rice-field views.
